IH has expanded the Puma™ Series tractors to include eight models.
Four Puma long wheel base (LWB) models lead the pack with 135 to 180
PTO hp (100.7 to 134.2 kW), and four new Puma short wheel base (SWB)
models extend Puma efficiency to operators requiring a utility
workhorse in the 95 to 135 PTO hp (70.8 to 100.7 kW) range. 
Proud
Puma heritage. The Puma name has a proud heritage dating
back to 1986 when Steiger® introduced the Puma 1000 row-crop
tractor. Like today’s Case IH Puma tractor, the Steiger Puma tractor
was revolutionary for its time, combining high horsepower with
maneuverability.
